Kyrie Irving is the Celtics’ third most valuable asset
The Celtics got blown out by 23 in Toronto last night, and have dropped their last 5 with Kyrie Irving in the lineup. Colin thinks Irving is a great player, but a bad fit and Boston and only the organization’s third most valuable asset.
Colin ranks Brad Stevens and Jayson Tatum ahead of Irving on the asset list, and wouldn’t break the bank to pay Irving in the offseason because it’s been proven that the Celtics are a better team without him, from coming a game away from the Finals, to winning their last 6 games with Kyrie out.
