Watson could become the next Luck
The aftershock of Andrew Luck’s retirement is still reverberating throughout the NFL, and has many wondering if Luck could start a trend of players walking away before getting carted off. Luck’s retirement was a direct result of him taking a merciless beating in his early years, and Colin thinks there’s one current promising quarterback that could be headed down the same path.
Deshaun Watson took more hits than any QB in the league last year, by a mile, and enters this season with the Texans failing to pull off any moves to get him more protection. The obvious answer is Houston should trade Clowney for some offensive line help, but without a real GM, who knows.
